Caltrans wants your thoughts on how to improve bicycle travel along and across Petaluma’s two state-owned roads: US-101 and CA-116 (Lakeville Highway; pictured above).
Caltrans is currently developing a plan to improve bicycling along and across our state highway system. Your input will help shape future Caltrans improvements for bicycling in Petaluma and across the North Bay!
At this community workshop, attendees will discuss Caltrans’ proposed projects for bicycle improvements and share ideas on local priorities. This is a great opportunity to call out the need for new and/or improved 101 crossings and protected bike lanes along Lakeville Highway.
When: Thursday, November 9, 2017, 5-8 PM (Caltrans will present between 6-7 PM; with an ‘open house’ format before and after)
Where: Petaluma Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd
If you would like to participate but are unable to make this date, there will also be an online workshop on November 30. More details will be available on Caltrans’ Bike Plan webpage prior to November 30.
